5 steps to get your job at Werk & Ik
We all agree that recruiting and selecting the right people is fundamental for any business. How best to do it, however, remains a challenge. Behavioral science has a lot to say about the way in which people make decisions in these types of setting.
Bringing talented individuals into the organisation is one of the most important roles of managers and HR professionals. So it is not surprising that the recruitment process has developed into a sizeable industry, with marketing and search firms and occupational psychologists at the forefront of this. Here at Werk & Ik we focus on quality work that brings value to each of our clients.
Here is a step by step breakdown of what you can expect from our recruitment process, that will transform you from candidate to employee.
You can search for an opportunity here on our site. Remember to keep your search quite broad, and try not to search for individual job titles. If you don’t find anything straightaway, sign up for a job alert and we’ll let you know as soon as something suitable comes up.
If you see a job that looks right for you, we’ll ask you to either submit your cv or send an application form by email.
We might also ask you some questions that will help us gauge your experience and ensure you are a right fit for us.
3. FIRST INTERVIEW
We may invite you for an interview or Assessment Centre. This will be either an informal discussion over the phone to review your skills and experience, or a formal first stage interview/assessment.
4. SECOND INTERVIEW
For our more senior positions we are likely to ask you to attend a second interview, and we’ll use this opportunity to find out more about your experience and whether you’d be a good fit for our business.
5. THE OFFER
Finally, we will send a job offer to you that outlines the job description, salary and benefits related information. However, if you don’t receive an offer after interview, we will give you plenty of constructive feedback which will help you in your ongoing job search.
